1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the UniApplyForMe Data API and platform at data.apply.org.za, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Use of the API

You may use the UniApplyForMe Data API only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to use the API to build competing services, resell data without written permission, or misrepresent the source of the data.

3. API Keys

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. Do not share keys publicly or embed them in client-side code. UniApplyForMe is not liable for any misuse of your API keys.

4. Rate Limits and Fair Use

Your plan includes monthly request limits and per-minute rate limits. Exceeding these limits will result in your requests being throttled or rejected. Abuse of the service may result in account suspension.

5. Data Accuracy

UniApplyForMe makes every effort to ensure data accuracy but does not warrant the completeness or correctness of any data returned by the API. University application details, bursary closing dates, and APS requirements should always be verified directly with the relevant institution.

6. Intellectual Property

All data, content, and code provided through the UniApplyForMe Data platform is the property of UniApplyForMe. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Account Suspension

UniApplyForMe reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the API, or engage in behaviour harmful to other users or the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

UniApplyForMe is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the API or reliance on data provided by the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
